Mulch: Tree Care Basics

MCFC recognized the issue of improper mulch installation had reached the point where tree health of trees with "Volcano" mulch was being detrimentally affected.  To address this issue, MCFC worked with the Missouri Department of Conservation to develop a series of signs for placement at businesses that sell mulch.  The signs are based on an existing MDC display on mulch and water with MCFC providing the funds to print this image on various sign types.  Member asked local mulch vendors if they may give them a sign and in many cases install for them for public display.  If you are interested in receiving one of these signs, contact your local MCFC representative.
